My name is Karen & I'm a Savannah elopement photographer who captures some of the happiest moments of a person's life. Pretty rad, huh?
Being an elopement photographer in Savannah is endlessly inspirational, but I also love traveling, so if you and your partner want me to capture your elopement or intimate wedding outside of my city, just know that I. Am. Totally. Down. For. That. This day is supposed to be about you, and I'm honored to be able to tag along for the ride. (I'm a really fun third wheel, I promise.)
I love connecting with my couples to learn who they are at their core, and you won't ever find me asking you to gaze wistfully out into the distance or pretend to laugh together (???) when I'm shooting. We'll play games, I'll ask you questions, and I'll make sure the images I capture have authentic emotion behind them, because who the heck wants to pretend to laugh when they can be doing the real thing? WHERE DO YOU TYPICALLY SHOOT?
Though you'll most often find me shooting down south, I am a huge travel bug and am available worldwide!
WILL ALL OF MY FILES BE EDITED?
Absolutely. Every image that is delivered is a fully-edited, high resolution file to ensure a seamless, cohesive aesthetic.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE MY PHOTOS?
It depends on your session. For a lifestyle session -- meaning an engagement session, a family session, or otherwise, my turnaround time is between 2-3 weeks. An elopement will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks due to the amount of images taken.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You will get all of your images in an online gallery, where you will have the option to download your entire session. There, you will also be able to order prints and enlargements as well.
HOW SHOULD WE DRESS FOR A SESSION?
This is a bit of a tricky answer, because it truly depends on who you are, your style, and the chosen location. But that's where I come in! I thoroughly enjoy working with my couples to figure out the perfect wardrobe for their session. I will say this, though: bring that gorgeous gown that you've never had a reason to wear, or the leather jacket that makes you feel like a rockstar. These photos should capture the best, most confident version of you, so dress the part!
